A Darling Life

Inspiration..It creeps up on us when we least expect it. For me, I get the majority of my inspiration from wonderful getaways. My favorites so far have been a trip to Hawaii, the British Virgin Islands and Paris.  I love walking into new places, whether it be a gorgeous hotel, a beautiful beach or just a lovely flea market. I also love being inspired by talented designers like Proenza Schouler and Rodarte. Lately, I find myself being drawn towards very feminine colors and textures. I love anything that is romantic and sheer, or organic and floral. Today, I was inspired by the wonderful work of Victor and Rolf. There lingerie-inspired Spring/Summer 2010 Shoe Collection is so pretty and feminine! Oh how fun it is to be a girl :)

In keeping with the feminine theme, I wanted to share with you, the new Home Collection from H and M. The light pinks, florals and soft whites are so summery and pretty. It seems that the Home Collection is only available in certain European Countries BUT the good news is that these images are sure to keep you all inspired!!

Coming from the mouth of the Queen B herself, we've all been told that if you got it, flaunt it. And what better way to show it all off than by strutting your stuff in one of the hottest dresses ever created. I mean seriously, this dress puts the her in herve leger. Its hot, its tight and it definately turns heads.

A J.Crew Summer

                       J.Crew is one of those stores I get majorly excited about at the start of each season. Come Winter, Fall, Summer and Spring, I find myself browsing their online catalogue, admiring all the new pieces and wishing that just maybe, I could look as well-put together as the J.Crew models. 
Whether it's a chunky gold necklace strung together with a creme ribbon and pearls, or a floral pair of boyfriend shorts, J.Crew's look is always romantic and feminine; and that' why I love it so much.

One girl in particular, who embodies the J.Crew style to a T is Jenna Lyons- also known as J.Crew's amazingly talented Creative Director.

Domino Magazine had the rare opportunity to go inside Jenna's Brooklyn Home.

She even converted a full bedroom into her closet!

Discovered just a year ago, Anne and Kirby Kenny are the most saught-after models of the moment and have already walked all of fashions hottest runways including Prada, Missoni and  Proenza Schouler. At the young age of 17, these twins are definately taking the fashion world by storm.
