The Thompson Hotel

From New York to LA, Chicago to DC, the Thompson Hotel has made its mark on some of the hottest cities in North America. It's next stop: Toronto.
Right now, Toronto seems to be one of the most promising cities around and developers are definitely taking note. Top hoteliers like The Four Seasons, Shangri-La, Trump and Ritz are currently in construction mode and should be opening within the next few years.

I'm excited to share with you, the opening of the Thompson Hotel Toronto, coming this May. Known best for its celebrity status and rooftop pool, this will definitely be the 'go-to' place all summer long.

And what else has people talking? The hotel's restaurant, Scarpetta. Already a favourite in New York and Miami, celebrity chef Scott Conant is bringing his wonderful restaurant North, becoming one of the first celebrity owned restaurants in our wonderful city.

The Royal Treatment

I'm excited to share with you, a new concept from Dairy Queen called the Blizzard Mobile. Celebrating its 25th birthday, Dairy queen has decided to make this the biggest party to hit North America. Making stops in 25 cities from April through August, this fun blue truck has people talking. At all stops, there will be free mini blizzards. You can even try to score some coupons in the blizzard blaster.

A few weeks ago, my friend and I went to a new restaurant in Toronto called Delica Kitchen.
